8/23/06 - Autocross results from the club's third event at the Marshalltown gokart track are now posted on the Past Events Photos page, along with a photo link, as usual, from Steve Myers.  Steve got a new camera, and the pictures are really great!!  Thanks a lot for doing this for the club, Steve!  We really appreciate it!!  I also got the autocross results from last  year's MAM event, so they are now on the Past Events Photos, too, if you want to compare your time from this year to last.  (If your time is like mine, you may not want to.  How did I run 2.5 seconds slower this year when the temps were 15 - 20 degrees cooler?????  Oh well, we still had fun.)

7/30/06 - Autocross results from the club's fifth annual high-speed driving event at Mid America Motorplex, MCCI @ MAM5, the 2.23 mile road course at Pacific Junction, IA, are now available on the website by clicking on the Past Events Photos page.  A photo link has also been provided by one of our participants and members, Frank Ross.  Thanks, Frank!  Another of our members, Jim Pierce, took a bunch of great pictures at the event.  I just haven't figured out yet how to get them posted on the website, but hope to have them on soon.  Autocross results from our second event at the Marshalltown gokart track on July 8, along with pictures from Steve Myers are also now available on the  Past Events Photos page.  Thanks, as usual, Steve!  Steve has also provided a link on the same page from the July 1 Dyno Day we had at Mid State Machine.  Thanks again, Steve.  We really appreciate it!!

6/30/06 - The flyer for the club's fifth annual high-speed driving event at Mid America Motorplex, MCCI @ MAM5, the 2.23 mile road course at Pacific Junction, IA, is now available on the website by clicking on the ANNUAL OPEN TRACK EVENT spot on the left margin of the home page or on the hyperlink to the right of the dates for the event on the home page.  Results from the May 7 Autocross, along with pictures (courtesy of Steve Myers:  Thanks, Steve) from the autocross, the April 30 Greenwood Roadway Tour and the June 4 Car Show are now available on the Past Events Photos page.

4/30/06 - The flyer for the 27th annual car show is now available.  You can print it off from the home page or from the Annual Car Show page and send it in with your entry.  Results from all four of last year's autocrosses are now available on the Past Events Photos page, along with some pictures from last year's car show and club Dyno Day event.  A big "Thank You" to Steve Myers for sending these pictures and also the missing autocross results from the August 8 event.  An on-going big "Thank You" too to Chris Hammond for his long service to the club by providing timing coordination at the autocross series for many years.. Thanks a lot, Chris!!  Keep sending pictures of your cars to me to put on the website (unless you're ashamed of them, of course!); .jpg formats only, please; send them to p.berg@mchsi.com and I'll get them on the website as soon as I can.

2/19/06 -  Lots of items have been updated since the last note.  All monthly meeting locations are set on the Upcoming events page.  Dates for the 4 autocross series at Marshalltown are set.  Mustang Club sponsors (and web links where possible) are now just a "click" away on the home page.  Go to the Past Events Photos page to see the 2005 autocross results; no pictures, but if you have any, send them to me and I'll put them on the website.  More members' car pictures have also been added; if you want your car on the website, send me your pictures in .jpg format (p.berg@mchsi.com).  Everything should be up-to-date.  If it isn't, let me know.  Thanks.

11/26/05 - The Upcoming events page has been updated with tentative dates for 2006 monthly meeting dates and special events.  We don't yet have all dates and meeting locations, but we will fill these in as soon as possible.  If you are aware of dates and/or locations, or want to see other events listed here, please contact the Webmaster, Paul Berg, and I'll put them on the website.

4/06/04 - Pre-Registration is now open for the third annual Mustang Club of Central Iowa's Open Track event on July 24th and 25th at the Mid-America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, IA.  Registration information and more details are now available on the Upcoming events page.

3/13/04 - Some 2004 events have been posted and updated on Upcoming events page.  The 2003 MCCI@ MAM 2 event in review is now posted in the Past Events Photos page.

12/3/03 - The web page has finally been updated.  The next year's calender of events will be updated as the year goes on.  It is on the Upcoming events page.  Officers have been updated.  We had some issues getting the updates in, so if some links don't work on the new or old stuff please send me a note so we can get them fixed.  Future updates will be posted here.

9/17/02 - The web page will be updated shortly with results from this year's Autocross Series, and pictures from our MCCI@MAM open track event.  Stay tuned for details.

7/21/02 - Past Events Photos  page has been updated with pictures from the 7/13/02 Show & Shine at Dewey Ford.   After, a few cars then headed over to the Sonic in Altoona for dinner and then cruised to Newton to enjoy a double feature at the Drive-Inn, no cartoons this time.  Thanks to Dave & Kathy Bowers, John & Barb Leise, and Chris Vlahakis for attending.

3/16/02 - Pre-Registration is now open for the first annual Mustang Club of Central Iowa's Open Track event on August 10th and 11th sponsored by the Mustang Club of America.  Registration information and more details are now available on the Upcoming events page.

3/16/02 - 23rd Annual Car show and Swap Meet flyer is now available.  This years event will be held on June 2nd at the new Dewey Ford dealership in Ankeny.  More information is available on the Annual Car Show page.

2/10/02 - We  have now updated the upcoming events page and a few other pages to reflect the current scheduled meetings and special events.  We are excited to present the first annual Mustang Club of Central Iowa's Open Track event on August 10th and 11th sponsored by the Mustang Club of America.  Registration information and more details will be coming in the near future. 

1/5/02 - I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for everyone's support & words of encouragement over the last three years.  This is the last update I will be doing as MCCI webmaster as I will be stepping down from my webmaster and treasurer duties at the January 20th meeting.  I have really enjoyed serving as webmaster for the club from the web site's creation three years ago to now.  Unfortunately, keeping the site up-to-date has been taking more time than I have to devote to it and I have other projects that are demanding my attention (i.e. www.mustanggt.org).  Thanks again!  Kathy Bowers
